RACE SET-UP

The race event starts on Friday, 28th Nov 2025 with a meeting of all runners in the team hotel in Paro, and will end in Thimphu on Monday, 04nd Nov 2025.
The race will commence in Paro and conclude in Thimphu, home to the majestic 20-meter-tall Buddha statue, one of the most beautiful landmarks in the region. All runners will be picked up at Paro International Airport and transported to the designated hotel.
The race is projected to cover a distance of 100 kilometres, divided into three stages, with the route consisting of trails that are accessible by unpaved roads. Most of the course traverses’ remote areas that are reach by 4×4 vehicles.
All runners are required to bring the mandatory equipment as well as their personal belongings. The event is designed as a full-board experience, with breakfast, light lunch, and dinner, accompanied by non-alcoholic beverages, provided at each camp. For hydration and nutrition, we will serve every check point with fruits, water, coke and chocolate bar to fuel your energy.
During race week, all competitors and organizer team will stay in the same hotel and camp. One-night Accommodations will be in tents; toilet facilities will be available, but camping mattresses will be provided.
Each runner must carry their personal and mandatory racing equipment as specified. Personal belongings, packed in a single bag not exceeding 30 kilograms, will be transported from camp to camp.
Additionally, personal items (one bag per person) that competitors do not require during the race will be transported directly from the hotel in Paro to the hotel in Thimphu, as per your preference. Our transportation team will ensure the safe handling of your baggage until the conclusion of the race.
The award ceremony, which will include a buffet dinner and a local cultural show, will take place at a four-star hotel in Thimphu on Thursday night.
On Friday, 28th Nov, 2025, participants will have the option to extend their stay in Bhutan by selecting from our recommended extension programs or will be shuttled to Paro International Airport.
